Fondazione Humanitas

Starting in 2022, Acqua dell’Elba has been collaborating with the Humanitas Foundation for Research, a non-profit organisation dedicated to studying and treating diseases such as cancer, heart attack, stroke, autoimmune, neurological and musculoskeletal disorders.
The Humanitas Foundation for Research supports over 300 researchers from 16 countries across 4 continents who, together with hospital physicians, work tirelessly in the search for new treatments.

The partnership with the Humanitas Foundation for Research fully embodies the essence of Acqua dell’Elba as a Benefit Corporation, whose primary mission is sustainable development: economic, environmental and social.
Its commitment to “bringing well-being to people’s lives”, embedded in its vision, aligns perfectly with the concept of holistic care for human health that characterises the Humanitas Foundation for Research.

2022 Campaign “The Essence of Research”

During 2022, Acqua dell’Elba and the Humanitas Foundation for Research launched the campaign “The Essence of Research”, aimed at raising funds for a truly meaningful Christmas 2022.
For this purpose, more than 1,000 products were donated (including Candles, Mare and Note di Natale Home Fragrances, and Hand Sanitising Gel), which were then resold by the Humanitas Foundation for Research at stands set up in hospitals and on its website.
These sales contributed significantly to the fundraising efforts in support of the Foundation’s research activities.

Research is the concrete response to our health needs, and Humanitas is among the centres of excellence in Italy that perfectly embody the concept of the “Essence of Research”.
It was an honour to take part in the 2022 initiative, which combined the essential and tireless work carried out daily by Humanitas researchers with the essence of Acqua dell’Elba fragrances which, though in a different way, also care for people’s well-being.

 

2023 Campaign “Research lights the way to health”

The partnership between Acqua dell’Elba Benefit Corporation and the Humanitas Foundation for Research continues in 2023 with the campaign “Research lights the way to health”.
For Christmas, the company once again donated more than 1,000 Acqua dell’Elba products to support the research carried out by the Humanitas Foundation.
Among these were Eau de Parfum for men and women, Home Fragrances and, in line with the theme of the campaign, Scented Candles.

In addition, until Christmas 2023, all Acqua dell’Elba monobrand stores will sell the special 500 ml “Casa dei Mandarini” home fragrance, featuring a wooden diffuser customised with the Humanitas Foundation for Research logo.
10% of the proceeds from the sales of this product will be donated to the Foundation.

 

2024 Campaign “Pink Union”

The partnership between Acqua dell’Elba Benefit Corporation and the Humanitas Foundation for Research continues in 2024, with Acqua dell’Elba supporting women’s health through the “Pink Union” campaign — an initiative dedicated to prevention and to research into new therapies to better treat the main diseases affecting women, including those that are more difficult to manage, such as ovarian cancer.

For the occasion, a special edition of the Arcipelago Donna Eau de Parfum 15 ml was created and donated entirely to Research, dressed in the iconic Pantone pink packaging: the colour of Pink Union.

This limited edition fragrance, composed of only 1,000 pieces, was distributed exclusively on the FHR website in exchange for a minimum donation of 20 euros.

In addition, during the month of October, it was possible to purchase the Arcipelago Donna Eau de Parfum 100 ml in monobrand stores and on the official Acqua dell’Elba website, and 10% of the proceeds from every bottle sold was donated to FHR’s women’s Research and Prevention projects.
