GREEN WEEK 2026
From 23 to 27 November, a week dedicated to sustainability
From 23 to 27 November 2026, Acqua dell’Elba Green Week returns: a week dedicated to environmental, economic and social sustainability and to the projects through which Acqua dell’Elba Benefit Corporation and the Acqua dell’Elba Foundation contribute to the development of the local area and its community.
Five days to share the results achieved during the year, discuss ongoing projects and open up new perspectives on the environment, education, social initiatives, ocean literacy and the relationship between business, people and the local area.
The 2026 programme is currently being finalised and will be updated progressively with times, venues, guests and participation details.
2026 results and new sustainability goals
Green Week will open on Monday 23 November with a day dedicated to the results achieved during the year by Acqua dell’Elba Benefit Corporation and the Acqua dell’Elba Foundation.
For Acqua dell’Elba, it will be an opportunity to review the progress made across the four main areas of commitment of the Benefit Corporation: environment, people, local community and wider community.
The Foundation will present the activities and results achieved in its five areas of intervention: environment, education, culture, social initiatives and art. Alongside the general overview, some of the projects and themes that characterise Acqua dell’Elba’s sustainability journey will be explored in greater depth.
These will include Elba 2035, with a new opportunity to discuss the Sustainability Manifesto for the Island of Elba and its future development; the evolution of the company’s climate strategy, increasingly integrated into its overall environmental policies; and La Via dell’Essenza, to share the results achieved and identify the next activities relating to maintenance, accessibility and communication.
The day will also include the presentation of Green Box 2026, the initiative that will accompany Green Week and that, from 23 to 29 November, will allow customers to make a tangible contribution to the projects of the Acqua dell’Elba Foundation.

School and education: understanding Europe
In 2026, Green Week will once again dedicate a day to the relationship with schools and education.
For the 2026–2027 school year, the theme chosen for the Book Project and Project Works will be the European Union.
The choice is also linked to the many anniversaries that will fall in 2027 — from the 70th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome to the 35th anniversary of the Maastricht Treaty, as well as the 25th anniversary of the physical introduction of the euro and the 40th anniversary of Erasmus — but above all to the aim of helping students understand in practical terms how the European Union works, what its competences and limits are, and how European decisions relate to territories and people’s everyday lives.
As in previous years, the project will involve the upper secondary schools of the Island of Elba through books, in-depth meetings and Project Work activities.
The theme will also be brought inside Acqua dell’Elba, enriching the company library and offering employees an opportunity for training and discussion with the experts involved in the project.
Social initiatives: from the 2026 projects to the new Call for Projects
A specific section will be dedicated to the Foundation’s work in the social field.
Green Week will provide an opportunity to present the results of the projects supported through the 2026 Social Call for Projects, giving a voice to the associations and initiatives developed in the local area.
The meeting will also present the main guidelines of the new 2027 Social Call for Projects, with the aim of continuing to support projects that can contribute to quality of life, inclusion, health and wellbeing within the Elban community.

European Blue Schools: a growing network
Green Week will once again dedicate a day to the European Blue Schools and ocean literacy.
Following the path that has involved the schools of the Tuscan Archipelago, in 2026 the project is entering a new phase, focused on consolidating the collaborations already established and on the possibility of gradually expanding the network to other areas.
The day will provide an opportunity for schools, institutions and organisations involved in Ocean Literacy to meet, share the experiences developed over recent years and reflect on the next steps of the project.
The specific programme for the event will be defined in the coming weeks.
