There is an entire sea dividing Isola d’Elba from the Côte d'Azur, but the same sea also unites two great traditions of welcoming hospitality. Acqua dell’Elba has navigated that same sea many times in the past years, taking part in important international exhibitions dedicated to the world of Yachting, which is how a very important partnership was born.
‘The relationship with Annex Beach started in 2017’, recalls Marco Turoni, co-founder of Acqua dell’Elba, ‘but it was during the Cannes Yachting Festival of September 2019 that we discovered the reciprocal affinities binding us to a place which has been influential in the legend of the Croisette, right in front of the historic Hotel Carlton. Thus, with Annex Beach and its plans for a redevelopment project, it was truly love at first sight’.
This was the beginning of a collaboration which truly bloomed during the course of this summer, when all of the extremely comfortable white beach sofas were covered with a special edition of Acqua dell’Elba’s iconic beach towels, specifically produced for Annex Beach, the bar and restaurant were suggestively furnished by the olfactive décor provided by our home fragrance diffusers, and our fragrances became an elegant Cadeau for the guests of the unforgettable evenings organised at the Annex.
‘The collaboration with Acqua dell’Elba’, explains Sergio Fracchia, General Manager and partner of The Annex beach ‘is part of the overall project through which Annex Beach intends to propose, throughout the summer of 2020, a way of living the sea with originality, elegance and tons of personality. From the furniture created by Jacques Garcia, one of the greatest designers in the world, to the menu developed by Executive Chef Ugo Alciati and realised by the resident Chef Alessandro Puddu, to the entertainment, shows and animations, everything we do has a special fragrance’.
A fragrance which undoubtedly encloses all of the essence of the sea…
