Acqua dell’Elba and Composad: a collaboration of values
Authenticity, craftsmanship and social responsibility on environmental protection topics are some of the values Acqua dell’Elba has always supported: finding them in the mission statement of Composad, an Italian company producing furniture using environmentally friendly kits, was the start of a collaboration which is currently bringing the essence of the sea among the stands of the International Furniture and Interiors Fair (“Imm”) in Cologne.
Acqua dell’Elba’s home fragrance diffusers, toiletry products, towels and bathrobes make their contribution in coherently enriching the atmosphere of a stand representing the best combination of “green thinking” and the search for beauty, which are two core pillars of the company belonging to the Gruppo Saviola Holding, as they are for us.
Indeed, Composad was the backer of European-wide research conducted by the students of the IED of Turin, showing that 87% of millennials on the continent declare themselves ready to buy furniture produced with environmentally friendly materials, such as the up-cycled wood materials used by the enterprise from Modena.
Similarly, Acqua dell’Elba perseveres in its unwavering support for the environmental commitment expressed by the consolidated reality that is now SEIF – Sea Essence International Festival, this year celebrating its third edition, and is now participating in an important initiative of sustainable planning for Isola d’Elba from now until 2035, of which we shall tell you more soon.
Artistic sensibility is also another theme bringing us together: if Composad’s stand in Cologne hosts a masterpiece by maestro Gaetano Pesce made from recycled wood, Acqua dell’Elba’s artistic commitment is evident in the multiple initiatives organised throughout the years in collaboration with the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, from which a truly interesting surprise will come in this 2020, the year of our twentieth anniversary.
Being present in Composad’s stand in Cologne, after all, is a way to underline the authenticity of shared values: #itsalltrue is not only the hashtag launched by Composad for the occasion of the fair, but a statement that our preoccupation for the environment, our desire to improve it through strategic choices and awareness initiatives, our commitment towards future generations are cardinal points guiding both companies on the way of sustainable development.
